Margaret Thorne Bracey

I traveled with my family to many duty stations while my husband served in the Army. I left Park View during my senior year because I wanted to complete my education in 1970 and I could not take the 2 subjects that I needed during the summer at Park View. After my children became adults, I decided it was time for me to go back and work on my education. I have earned my Bachelor of Business Administration degree and will complete my Master's soon.

Unlike most of you. I do not have many fun memories of my days at Park View because it was during the time of "Freedom of Choice". It was a difficult time for all of us back then (both black and white) trying to adjust to all the changes and to each other. Things got better as time past.
I do remember the good ole days at East End when we had half days so we could attend football games (eventhough most of us used the time to hang out with our boyriends).
